- The mission is great. I feel good about about what RA does. - Many of the people (esp. lower level employees) are very passionate about what they do.

Cons

- The upper management is really incompetent. They don't know how to run an organization well. - Lots of people laid off in the past 2 years - Unsure financial future.

Uncertain future for staff and business model

Pros

Pros: Good name recognition and outside reputation (for now) Interesting, smart colleagues Good decisions lately to cut upper management staff Good work-life balance and flexibility.

Cons

Cons: Low morale and high uncertainty due to continued downsizing and reorganization. This has been going on for 3 years. People are drip, drip being let go. Lack of dynamic leadership - low energy is not inspiring. Big funding challenges - money is running low and there is lots of infighting to get pieces of it. Politics and favorites play a big role in who gets chosen. Bad press - every now and then there is an article that risks lasting damage to the organization’s reputation. Benefits cut recently makes them average (they used to be really good.)
