Pros

Decent commission structure if you can fight through the internal battles and find a way to make deals Working with the few good people who are left

Cons

Minimal recruiting resources for those who are not the favorites, particularly no access to job boards aside from Monster which is horrible for a top staffing firm Every job you recruit on is assigned to Recruiters from above and it's corrupt, too much room for favoritism. Account Managers do not have to earn their coverage anymore. There is a organization within Randstad called the NSO that takes over every successful account and the company has lost their mid market business do to reallocation of all the top producers (recruitment teams and Account Managers) into the NSO or what the NSO managers call "growth." They absorb to make their numbers look good. They are led by manipulative bureaucrats that manipulate the system to fill their own pockets and cut off any internal competition either by pushing them out of the company or absorbing them into their group so they have control -Recruitment reporting under BPE strategy is a mess. There are recruiters from different offices recruiting jobs that are located all over the country and reporting into other managers that are not local to them. The strategy doesn't make any sense but it benefits a select few because they have made it so complicated and they take care of each other -Back end/billing and commission is a disaster. Constant commission issues, lazy team down in Florida that doesn't care about your pay check -People who are in charge of our National Strategic Accounts are terrible negotiators. We were constantly being subject to higher discounts and the employees/recruiters get shafted and have to eat it. -Turning into a Robert Half environment very fast.

Pros

PTO is bad, but you'll be treated badly for taking it. You don't suffer alone. Your coworkers suffer with you. Pay is ok, but it'll probably be screwed up or not on time.

Cons

Severe micro management with endless nagging. No flexibility, terrible work environment and work culture. Go work for a startup or dell. Stay far far away for this place. You're treated like children by children. It's like working for the mean girls in junior high. It's almost comical the lack of professionalism. The girls that run the office are on the verge of an HR train wreck. The managers have no other management experience more or less work experience and don't know anything else but Randstad. You'll feel like you're on the verge of getting fired from the day you start.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us this review. While we would love for all of our employees to be happy and leave us 5-stars, we do understand that that is not realistic and we are grateful for any/all advice. Because your review is listed as anonymous, it is hard for us to address these issues - so if you would want to email us at at digital@randstadusa.com (with specifics, names, locations. etc..) we can do our best to make it right and address the branch managers personally. Thank you and have a great day!

Pros

You learn sense of urgency, learn to do interviews, verify references. Manage talent. Great place to get experience and get out.

Cons

Micromanagement at its finest. All they care is about numbers, nothing more embarrassing then calling clients to introduce yourself and their response is 'wow, another one. Let's see how long you'll stay'
