Pros

"Was" an amazing place to work, when hired current managers had been in place for years and cared about there employees well being and careers , and internal promotions from lower departments was very high. lots of room to grow... there are some great people there Great for getting experience and that getting out and moving on

Cons

Now after over 4 years and 6 different managers for my department moral is pretty low -Manager gives lots of open-ended promises, never follows through can never back up there employees due to manager/s not being technically qualified, causing department changes that forces much higher workloads than job outlined when hired -Micro Managing like you wouldn't believe -Highly stressful when everything you do has to be explained to a boss that doesn't know even the basics of Microsoft Office - Pay is poor for senior employees .. when newer recruits get 15-20% more with little to no experience and raises will not reflect performance - your voice will not be heard, above issues have been brought up with managers of department current and past, due to High turnover though the good ones leave before doing any good and the bad ones seems to always stick around a little longer to screw up things that have been in place for years that have always worked very well -Would of liked to have a long term career...doesn't look promising -Company seems Way to focused on acquiring companies rather than making what they have great

Pros

Nice activities and incentives - they do try to make it an energetic and fun environment for the marketing associates

Cons

The high call volume at times can be exhausting. Also, the time off policy is not conducive to family life and illnesses. Management can be very immature and cliquish - feels like high school in regards to them.

Thank you for your post. I'm glad that you found the environment energetic and fun. No question peak call volumes are demanding. Although you have left, please stay connected to the company as the new Call Center leader Randy Johns has hit the ground running and we are about to announce some very exciting changes that should be viewed positively on multiple fronts. One of them is Mike Southwell, VP of HR will be assigned to the CC for the next 90 days to work with the team on implementing several areas that will be viewed as positively within the workforce. I wish you nothing but the best in your future endeavors. Sincerely, Kurt Twining

Pros

Great people able to work from home on some days

Cons

Constant management turnover, extremely slow to make changes that would benefit client and employee-rather more focused on just making the company money

Thank you for you post. I'm very interested in your point of how we can make quicker changes to benefit clients and employees. It is also clear that your impression on promotions has some issues with what you may be experiencing. Having seen every promotional increase, I know that our compensation team looks at market data and position in the range before making a recommendation on any promotion. The overall pay to market is constantly being evaluated and we believe very strongly that we pay fairly for positions we have in place. In fact we pay a premium for technical positions. I am concerned that you mentioned that your current manager "will try to block you" from a promotion. If you are willing, I would like to personally work with you on your concerns. Let me buy you a lunch. Sincerely, Kurt Twining 4016
