Pros

Some of my coworkers snacks Diverse environment

Cons

Not able to work from home You cannot trust people Rigid Lying sales people/management Dismal pay Micromanagement, being treated like a child Favoritism Toxic culture Uncaring management I’ve witnessed several people having to go on leave due to mental stress from the job and management. Management doesn’t care if you’re extremely ill, or that you have a dying relative. Only numbers matter and if you don’t have the time off you can’t take care of yourself or your family. Many people were hired as remote, however that was changed within the system, without telling anyone and we were forced to go into the office regardless of how much better we were doing at home. Favoritism is real. Two employees can be doing the exact same thing, and one will have a bad review and the other a good one. Some employees never do their job and they’re praised for it.

Pros

The Medical, dental, 401k benefits are good. They celebrate Customer Service Week with free food all week and a raffle.

Cons

Environment is toxic. Everyone is looking for another job, including management and don't give a hoot. CEO is a hatchet man for NewsCorp and in a 90s "do everything with nothing" mindset. Feels like one day you'll show up to work, and the doors will be chained shut. Very few people can be trusted or have a agenda. Sales lies their behinds off to sell. You have to fight to get the stuff you need to do your job. Its just not worth it.

Pros

They overcompensate employees because they're desperate for talent.

Cons

The CEO is basically a GM that reports up to NewsCorp. NewsCorp constantly uses Realtor.com to balance the books so millions of dollars are fluctuating quarterly. OpCity was acquired to move cash around, never really produced the promised value, and then the leaders all cut and ran when the vesting period ended. There are 550 job openings right now. And maybe 2000 employees. Either they haven't been able to recruit people after the last 3 rounds of essentially annual layoffs, or they are staffing up to mitigate the pain of the next round of layoffs. There is no clear direction for the future of the company. No clear vision as to what the value is they bring to the market anymore. Basically just profitable or not based on macro economics. If you want to go there to bring change and that change will take more than 3 months than you will never actually bring change. Since you manager will change about that often and any long term plans get shuttled and reset. The culture is cutthroat and cowardly. The leadership are empty figureheads. The entire enterprise is a slush fund for NewsCorp to balance their continually sagging books.
