Good company with a bright future, but rotten from the inside. Low Pay in Finance roles.

Pros

Since the company was acquired, there is a secure future for the company itself. New ideas, decent marketing, and improved relations with suppliers/vendors.

Cons

The Finance department is rotting from the poor management. Headed by CAO that has a track record for treating her employees less than, every other manager follows suit just to not get yelled at. Exempt employees are treated like hourly; hours are ridiculously long, with an implemented 3 days closing schedule. Managers do not mentor or delegate tasks to encourage learning. There is zero upward mobility here. There was high turnover the past year.

Great health benefits. $2,500 guaranteed commission for 5 months, before your manager calls your quota "Insane" and "Unreasonable." You get a badge with your picture on it. They bring Bagels on Wednesday

Cons

In the words of Stephen Covey, "Many in positions of authority do not see the true worth and potential of their people and they do not possess a complete, accurate understanding of human nature, so they manage people as they do things. This lack of understanding also prevents them tapping into the highest motivations, talents and genius of people. What happens when you treat people like things these days? It insults them and alienates them, depersonalizes work, and creates a low trust culture. " Mic drop.
