Pros

Benefits package is above average, probably due to being a European (Germany) based company.

Cons

The base pay, for all areas, is below average, which is the major cause of an exceptionally high turnover rate of employees. The company's response to the frequent low pay criticisms is to claim that Recaro's pay "is competitive for our industry". The turnover rate also causes frequent shortages of workers for critical skills stations, resulting in the unpopular remedy of temporarily moving assembly line workers to other, more unfamiliar assembly lines to cover these shortages. Additionally, many of the workers hired aren't competent enough, or motivated enough to be trained (or trusted) for many of the critical skills positions.

Pros

95% of your coworkers are easy to get along with the other 5% being are Favorites of Management, and they act like it. This company is pretty laid back are far as employee conduct. Everyone enjoys each others company for the most part. As a result we often have pot lucks and company activities that are quite pleasant. The work is not that hard, you just have to be good at managing your time. Benefits(pre-taxed) are good better than the market. 401k matches 100% up to 6% of your check. The money is good if your single, if you got a family look for a second gig.

Cons

Management needs to be more clear in what they expect from employees, and allow them to do their job in the time allowed. Don't cross the Favorites you will lose your job way before they even get a warning. There is a major problem with communication between Management and Employees...ie (if your not doing your job correctly, making a lot of mistakes or slow at doing your job they won't say anything to you til its bout time to let you go or move you.) And yes they will discuss (with their favorites) all your issues on the job. Oh and don't expect to get hired in for like 3yrs unless you become a favorite in which case you will need to bring some fresh carmax to keep your lips from chapping.
