Great opportunity to learn critical care and NICU, competitive pay, ROH has great health benefits for full-time
Cons
Difficult to get into NICU from the adult side, poorly managed, no respiratory department director, no on-site management on the weekends, understaffed so be prepared to be overworked, management compiles the schedule without reason so it's difficult to have a home life, some attendings do not value RRT opinions so be prepared to be a just check vents and push treatments.
