Pros

I get paid on time. My PD is respectful of my opinions re. time recommendations for patient care, discharge etc.

Cons

I've worked here for about 7 months, and have hardly had a positive, even neutral contact from an upper level manager. My PD is OK, but unhappy with the company. Productivity is everything, and the only thing I have been contacted about from them. NO time for all the paperwork demanded. In fact, I think they expect me to take paperwork home and do on my own time ( I don't which is why my productivity is lower even though I also do paperwork when I am with patients...This is expected). No time for communicating with other staff, and forget about treatment planning or even preparing for treatment. Don't ask for more than the minimal supplies. Full time hours are not guaranteed even when you are hired full time. You are expected to leave work as soon as you can after you see your last patient. No orientation. NOT impressed. I love the client population and short term rehab, but I feel that this company is exploitative to therapists and patients by not promoting good quality, thoughtful service by focusing only on productivity. I'll be look elsewhere soon.

Pros

The benefits are good, when you finally get your insurance cards! They lost my enrollment form!

Cons

I don't know where to begin. Everything I was told at the interview has not been true. You will be sent home when you finish your patients. You are expected to clock out to do any paperwork and filing. Filing! Why am I filing when you have a tech? Don't ask for time off. There was no onboarding, it was "here is where you will sit, here is your patient list." I had to search for the bathroom. The Program Manager is the most unprofessional individual I have ever worked with. She has not a leadership bone in her body.

Lack of communication and respect

Pros

There are many great , dedicated people working for this company. They are mostly found at the hospital level, not in the corporate office.

Cons

There is a double standard when you work for this company: upper management does not have to follow the same rules and guidelines as lower level employees. Regular employees are treated differently, and their problems are not really addressed, just ignored.
