Pros

The people are amazing to work with. I have made so many friendships. Benefits are great. They have a wellness program that works for me to keep me healthy and fit and motivated.

Cons

I have worked here for over 10 years. I have seen countless wonderful employees come and go. The unfortunate part of the going is that management doesn’t appear to value their best employees. They rather promote others who are less deserving and prepared because they fit into a strategic plan and are moldable for them to do what they need to accomplish this plan. This has made many employees that have dedicated their time, effort, loyalty, and commitment disposable. This eventually causes them to look for other employment where organizations value what they have to give. There’s also a Yeo & Yeo cult going on where no matter how terrible they are as employees, there is someone up above chirping in ears to push these employees upward. So basically if you’re not from Yeo & Yeo, don’t expect to get any promotions or fair raises. In the last few months, I have seen three amazing employees leave due to upper management not valuing them and it’s clear we’re hurting quite a bit due to those departures. Management also seems okay with some managers always calling in and leaving early because they do not go over the 40 hours (it’s not an obligation, but kinda par for course as manager). Many others feel bothered by this but do not feel there is an open door to voice concern. And if they do, they get shot down with excuses that we are a flexible work environment. Some take advantage of that. The pay is also not the best. If you don’t negotiate for above your target, you won’t get the compensation you deserve. This is a good starting point for your career in IT, but not the best long term.

Cons

Management could care less about you. There is an "in crowd" and if you aren't accepted to the group, you are let go, even if you are a good worker.

Pros

Remote work availability, everyone in a non management role seems to be helpful

Cons

For the technology services side (IT) pay is not scalable at all and neither is growth so your pretty much paid by how much they like you, not taking in consideration any other factors. There are a lot of silos and workplace politics in place that will eventually consume your role if you don’t choose to get involved. Behind closed doors management deliberately gatekeeps and hinders the success of people who in so many words... “don’t look like them” so be mindful of this type of environments. This employer HEAVILY stalked my social media during , and even more so post employment.

Thank you for writing this review. We strive for all of our managers to be skilled & passionate about mentoring our associates. It appears that you have had concerns with the leadership team. We're hopeful that you utilized some of the tools in place, such as our associate surveys and upward evaluations, to confidently share your concerns with our leadership team. Of course, we also also encourage our associates to share their needs/goals personally with their supervisors. Our managers and our overall firm can only get better with honest & constructive feedback! We recognize that there are many factors that need to be considered when determining compensation increases and growth opportunities, which is why we have a multi-tiered performance and compensation review process in place that allows for multiple leaders to get involved in making these important decisions, in addition to receiving feedback from those supervisors that an associate may work most closely with on a day-to-day basis.
