Understaffed Poor leadership team VP of the Technolgy team sits at home has no clue on what the department needs are. They bring contract employees in to shove ideas and tasks to overwhelm an understaffed department.

The current HR leadership appears to function more as a tool to apply pressure on employees and shield upper management from accountability, rather than serving as a true advocate for staff. Bringing forward concerns to HR often results in blame-shifting or retaliation, rather than resolution. The VP of HR has demonstrated a tendency to micromanage and marginalize those who offer differing views, while lacking a strong grasp of day-to-day operations—leading to frequent errors and confusion. Overall, the management culture reflects a disregard for employee well-being. The prevailing approach is to demand longer hours, assign blame freely, deflect responsibility, and quietly push out dissenting voices. It’s a highly toxic environment, and caution is advised.
