Pros

Quality product, longevity of parent company, Anderson windows and Doors. Income potential. Can't think of any other pros about Renewal by Anderson.

Cons

All commission. Poor training. Required to close at minimum percentage every month or be threatened with termination. All leads go into your closing percentage, such as service, no demos, no show, demo no sale. Money taken from your commission all the time. Reps will add money to job to avoid commission hit. Extra money is kept by company, not given back to customer. Must work two slots on Saturdays and three evenings a week. No time for family life. Not guaranteed you will be given appointments to run even though you are available . No way to plan your day. Don't care about making you drive two hours to a no-show appointment. Lots of driving, twelve hour days. Best leads given to veteran/friends close to their homes. Lots of poor leads. Poor training, expected to learn on the job or ask your coworkers. Management says they are too busy to help. One call close. Reps will say and do anything to get a sale. "Get the sale and move on to next appointment." Be aware you are selling patio doors to homeowners who can buy the exact same Anderson door for three times cheaper at Home Depot.

Pros

Great products Decent benefits No cold-calling required Helpful co-workers

Cons

Can be really bad in the slow time of the year when there aren't as many leads as normal, if you are not in the upper echelon of the sales staff. Management will cherry-pick what few leads they get and assign them to the top producers or the ones they want to help hit numbers to attend the annual sales incentive trip. Be a rockstar right away or they won't hesitate to freeze you out and make you want to quit.

Pros

Competitive pay, benefits are available. Owners are nice when they're around.

Cons

Horrible managers, they really make you feel like scum. The owners handed over the company and with that gave up the family oriented values. New managers like to really use you up until you're burnt out.
