Pros

Co Workers always provide a supportive, fun and upbeat working environment. Even on our long days, they end up being a great day!

Cons

It seems, even after over 15 years we still are trying to get fair pay, clear language and respect in a contract. WE have good Managers and bad Managers. It just seems the flow of information to those that need to hear us gets lost.

Pros

Amazing flight benefits. Fly free domestic on three major US airlines. Decent benefits. 401k through Charles Schwab with quite a few good options. Zed flight benefits. Very experienced Co-workers. Management is pretty good at keeping up morale with words of encouragement and the occasional provided lunch as well as a few department outings scattered throughout the year. There are a few bad apples in the department but for the most part everyone is awesome. Schedule is based on seniority and I consider that a pro.

Cons

Pay is not the best but it is a regional airline. There is not much upward momentum within the scheduling department. Raises are few and far between; about once a year. No lunch break but thats ok with me. You are allowed to leave to get food or eat at your desk. Dealing with crew members can sometimes be stressful as they dont always understand their own contract. Scheduling does everything they can to protect the Airline's operation as well as help the Crew members when we can. Crew members dont understand that we are drones following orders just like they are. But for the most part they are quite pleasant. The CEOs monthly company wide letters can be a bit Bible thumping. As a Christian myself I dont find this too much of a problem but professional company communications is not the place for pushing your beliefs on employees. Unless the organization is specifically religious.
