Pros

Huge potential to change an industry that has not evolved in the last 50 years. Complicated challenges with even bigger potential for impact are the problems that I enjoy working on. There are lots of interesting problems to solve and the team is filled with smart passionate people. Everyone, from engineering to sales and operations, want to provide the best experience possible to our customers.

Cons

Like many startups I have worked at, there is way more work to do than people to do it. Sometimes we have to live with a less than ideal solution because it is not a big enough problem to fix.

Pros

- Clear and focused cultural values - ResQ knows what it wants to be, and does an amazing job integrating employees into it's culture. - Lots of exciting and meaningful work in every functional area. - Major expansion and growth. - Using technology to solve real-world problems that has real impact on customers every single day. - While some technology marketplaces cater to only one side of the market, ResQ is creating lots of value on both sides - it's revolutionizing the industry for both restaurants and vendors. - Ability to carve out your own path and create your own success, with the support of ResQ's Personal Employee Growth Program. - Strong leadership team with deep backgrounds in start-ups, venture capital, consulting, tech and operations with experience from Facebook, Uber, Tulip Retail, and Joist. - Office is conveniently located, a quick walk from Union Station.

Cons

- With such a dedicated team solving hard challenges, it's not for those who are looking for a typical 9-5 job. Getting into the work/life rhythm balance can be a challenge especially for those coming from major established companies. - As the company grows and scales, you'll need to be comfortable with changing direction as priorities shift.
