Pros

The senior living industry is a fairly stable industry, and the people who tend to work in senior living do so because they care compassionate and caring.

Cons

The company has a set of standards, but selectively enforce them. The leadership is driven by greed because they need to make their profit sharing margins to earn their bonus. Very little care for the employees, they expect you to work hard but aren't willing to provide their employees with an actual living wage, or benefits that are worthwhile. If you have a family, don't expect to be able to support them, and don't expect any flexibility to be able to spend any time with them. Every position is a dead-end position, no room for advancement, be prepared to look for a new opportunities elsewhere if you want to improve or advance.

Pros

Excellent overall culture. No cost for housing, utilities and meals. Freedom to manage your community your way.

Cons

If you leave this job, you are unemployed and homeless. Residents and staff will not always respect boundaries when you have time off. You are truly stuck when someone decides not to show up for work, it is all on YOU! Be prepared to sell every day.

We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review and provide your feedback. Feedback from our staff is what helps us grow and become an even better company. I would agree that we have a pretty amazing culture! Yes, we have been expanding at a very fast pace, but we do our best to never lose sight of what is important and that's our residents and staff. Thank you again for your feedback!

Pros

Enjoyed engaging with and marketing to seniors.

Cons

No one is truly at the helm of the salesforce. Unique reporting structure with no accountability built in but lots of finger pointing when times are tough-like selling during a pandemic. Other than a week of classroom training, RLC has no continued development for field sales. No thinking outside the box. Internal systems are antiquated and they were compromised during my time there. Managers are dismissive and suspicious of you if you seek help outside their bubble. Passive aggressive management style contributes to the toxic work environment. Expected to work 7 days a week.
