Pros

The environment feels democratic. Meaning that if enough people voice their feeling about certain thing, higher ups take that into account, and often take some form of action. The company is self aware and works hard to improve. (Meaning any cons may not apply in the future.) The company is quick to identify people who don't pull their weight, and will take action.

Cons

Job titles are overly generic. They say that salaries are merit based, but only look at billable hours, which means if sales fails to do their job, or you have a job that isn't creating tangible assets, they'll use it as ammo to grossly underpay you. In addition, Sales will often completely misrepresent product, and there is no present repercussion for them. The lack of repercussion leads to frustrating moments when dealing with clients, as they're often told they'll have to pay extra for things that sales will mislead them to think is standard just to make the sale. Acquisition of new businesses is considered (a small, albeit) contributing factor for bonus and compensation raises. Teams are often understaffed. The admin are so focused on new growth, that fixing existing bugs is sometimes not a priority.
