Pros

- Get paid to learn - Thorough and extensive training - Preparation for future in the tech industry Overall, this was a great opportunity for me as a person. I thrive in an intensive environment and I am a dedicated student; I love learning new concepts and putting them into practice. This is not a job where you can slack off; it requires a lot of personal effort and dedication. That said, to me, it has felt 100% worth it. I'm going to be gaining opportunities I never would have gotten on my own.

Cons

- Very fast-paced learning environment - Off-the-clock study hours often required - You don't have much choice regarding what you do. - Timing and communication issues Several people in my cohort were unable to keep up and had to drop out. This is a lot of work, and you will be expected to do study off-the-clock. Additionally, you go where you're assigned - you don't have any choices or options regarding what technology you'll be taught or where you'll be assigned later. Still worth it, in my opinion, but it's entirely possible you won't get what you're hoping for or expecting. Additionally, I happened to have a trainer from India, which meant that there were sometimes some issues with communication and timing simply due to the language and time differences. That obviously goes both ways; English is the only language I speak fluently, so I can only imagine what it's like to try to teach an intensive coding course in a second language. It did still cause a few hiccups, especially early-on.

Pros

Paid training, geared toward fresh grads, career changers. Not a bad deal but training is intense.

Cons

Not many, especially now they allow you to train from home.
