Pros

Pay, Hours, Company Vehicle, PTO

Cons

You will be expected to start hitting your metrics real quick, In my situation, the area that I took over had been vacant for a while, and then we had a lot of product drops really quickly, and you are expected to make sure all of your area is complete. The area, especially like mine, was spread out a lot and had a lot of work to do in it. It also felt like getting help or field training was up to whether you were liked or not. It is a tough job. I enjoyed meeting people and trying to do my job, but I felt like I was not set up for success.

Pros

The people who have dedicated much of their adult lives to make this a once great company.

Cons

One of the biggest downsides is the emerging/supported view by management is the tenured loyal employees (aka higher cost resources) are the root of the problem. This sentiment is echoed and supported by international assignees, graduate recruits, DEI hires. Seems as though normal discussions about work levels, stretch objectives, tight deadlines and strong conversations about performance and results (which used to matter) are just played back as "triggers" to pampered, participation award recipients.
