A few decent people to work with, company direction is non-existent

Pros

Some good people. Mildly rewarding when you manage to get something accomplished. Flexible schedule.

Cons

Work is mildly rewarding. Fellow employees are usually good to work with but overall strategy and direction is completely absent from the top company leadership. People are constantly doing menial reports, analysis, and meeting after meeting to try and get the simplest things accomplished and appease one person. Constant explaining ,proving, reporting , analyzing. It’s a “running around in circles” mentality. All due to a single person at the top who’s condescending and thinks he knows it all. This has put overall moral in the toilet. The only next step is putting it in the sewer. Company leadership needs a drastic change and fast since no one has any respect for the guy and the company is slowly losing money.

Pros

Location, employees, benefits, are all four star rating.

Cons

Top management does not support the staff. Management requires special skills with people. Our top management is lacking in this ares. Everyone recognizes the issue but it does not get addressed.

Pros

Employees here, in general, are pretty nice and easy to get along.

Cons

Some upper management people have worked here forever; they were against new ideas and changes. Cross-functional teamwork and support from upper management never happened -- the main reason why I left the company. There's no team building and no one seems to be passionate about working there. HR was useless in this company. Lower than market average compensations.
