Pros

They offer some benefits unlike the rest of the industry which doesn't offer any benefits to part time workers.

Cons

They can cut your hours at any time. They constantly think employees are stealing and the camaras are always pointed toward employees instead of the real thieves. They do not give salary increases when they should and don't really care about their employees. The company will constantly send these so called health insurance packages that cost $50 a week in pay check deductions, not to mention the $20 copayments. $100 per paycheck deduction is a hefty amount for someone making 7 or 8 dollars an hour.

Pros

Rite Aid has a great benefits package an is always adding to that. Pay is okay and I am able to direct my store to a degree as I would my own.

Cons

Rite Aid is too paperwork heavy. Everything one does must be documented on computer and a hard copy and then reported to an upper level management person in the form of checklists. I spend more time verifying work done then I do in doing the work. And as with many companies these days one must do more all the time with less help. Payroll constrictions make very little sense.
