What a MESS!

Pros

Noble mission, even though the founder is botching it so badly.

Cons

Every day is pure chaos at this company, and somehow the founders try to spin it as if it's a strength. It's not, plain and simple. There's immaturity at the top, and it trickles down into everything at the company. You can even see it in responses to Glassdoor reviews, where of the cofounders not being able to help himself, making veiled threats about firing people who leave candid feedback!

Pros

(some) Great people Decent benefits Diverse & inclusive demographic

Cons

It’s hard to know where to start. Number one is MICROMANAGEMENT. I’ve worked for Telehealth companies before, and have never experienced this level of monitoring. They keep track of all your minutes online. If you’re not working for 5+ minutes, they have to manually adjust your schedule. And then your lead will have the audacity to pull up a graph to show you the minutes where you were offline as if you're a child that needs to be babysat. It’s insanity. Severely underpaid for the amount of work you do and experience that you bring in. They spend so much money on marketing, selling ideal health solutions, while on the backend we constantly deal with unhappy and furious patients. Customer experience was 100% rectifying (totally avoidable) situations. Rarely did I ever come across a happy member. Knowing the ins and outs, I would never be an actual patient of Ro. Just look at their BBB reviews. It speaks for itself. This is easily, without a doubt, single-handedly, the worst job I have ever had in my entire life.

They say it's for the patients; it's for the $

Pros

Wonderful insurance coverage...that's about all

Cons

Micro-managing, ridiculous monitoring and surveilling of employees, sub-par starting pay, and a general lack of consideration or empathy for employee experience. Ro has an amazing branding team because they present beautifully. Once you start working here, you can see what's underneath the shiny facade. It's a money grab for vulnerable folks who are looking for GLP-1 medication during a national shortage.
