Pros

Good place to be exposed to different technologies and work with a great team of coworkers. Very talented staff that's typically willing to mentor and freely share knowledge. Decent compensation.

Cons

The backoffice moved from Pleasanton to San Ramon in 2010. The move doubled the commute time for many employees. The company didn't care. The general impression given was 'suck it up or leave'. There was no consideration given or accomodation made to anyone whose commute went to hell. That attitude combined with the high turnover of middle managers makes employees feel devalued and apathetic.

Pros

Great training, provide on-line, desk-side, weekly phone calls and classroom training. It really is second to none.

Cons

This company really micromanages everything! They monitor how many phone calls, emails you make. The focus is on interviews rather than on the quality of the candidates that you are interviewing.

Pros

Great company name with a longstanding reputation. Domestic and international presence allows for you to travel and relocate if you wish. Helps develop thick skin and learn how to handle sharky environments. If you drink the kool-aid you're sure to succeed.

Cons

As a tenured employee micromanaged down to your phone calls, emails, and visits. Compensation is based on a draw. As a professional if covering your base and still earning bonus, micromanagement is frustrating. There's no professional development with tuition reimbursement. Expense reimbursement was slow (45 days minimum reimbursement). There was no clear communication when certain portions of your expense was not reimbursed or why. Examples, receipt was too light, we don't accept write overs or bank copies. Very frustrating when spending your own money and having to earn interest if using your card. Average expenses ranged from $300-500/mo.
