Pros

The team is made of insanely competent, pragmatic people who are 100% bought on the company's mission. I get to work everyday with humble geniuses in a spirit of truth-seeking / pursuit of learning, in order to solve real world problems. I'm walking among giants. And it's amazing. As managers, the founders are "OK". As leaders, they are GREAT. They are *worthy of loyalty*, in my judgment. I feel like I'm in a place where I can learn and accomplish many great things, for myself, for the company, and for society.

Cons

Prioritization is hard. And autonomy can be a double edged sword. I have a lot of freedom to "pick my battles", but this also means I bear responsibility on the bets that I make. I actually prefer it like this, but it can bring some stress and anxiety into the mix. If you NEED a more structured environment with a clear map ahead, you may not do so well here.

Roboflow gets stuff done

Pros

Roboflow is a fantastic environment for those that are looking for ownership and autonomy in their roles. The team does a great job of extending trust from Day 1 and encouraging all their employees to have an impact on the business. As a remote first company, documentation is an essential part of how Roboflow works. That being said, the company also values in-person collaboration which is the driver behind the numerous trips the team takes throughout the year. The work as Roboflow is centered around one thing: SHIPPING! It is an environment that encourages moving quickly and sharing your contributions with the team. The pace is infectious and is a great place for builders to work.

Cons

If you are seeking a lot of structure and process in your work, this may not be an ideal work environment.

Pros

The company is young in an exciting way. Not too young where you feel you don't have any tools or great teammates, but young that you can leave impact, make change, and be a real, strong fish in a growing pond.

Cons

As processes continue to get refined and built out, there can be some frustrations, especially if coming from a mega corporation. This is to be expected.
