Pros

Amazing place to move up quickly and there is a direct relationship between your effort and quality of work and the rewards if you're smart enough. Real chance to make big impacts on a business level.

Cons

The best way to describe QL is to watch the movie Promise Land that Matt Damon made. From the outside, everything is unbelievably amazing. And even on the inside, it seems like such a great place to be and you see all the incredible things QL does for people and the city. And then you start to have some success and move up. And you start to see the inner workings. The obsession with optics in the press. The undercutting of people across emails with 100's of people on them describing in depth how stupid someone was and what the punishment should be. (Good luck underwriters). The way leadership immediately starts to tear apart anyone who leaves the company as someone who just didn't want to be "amazing". The quiet firing of anyone who doesn't immediately hit the standards or abide unquestionably by the "isms" of the company. All of these are things that define corporate America and make a ton of business sense...yet they're also things QL promises it's not. Just don't be fooled. QL is the definition of an American Corporation with the real business happening where team members don't see it. Stay low enough on the totem pole, and this will remain one of the best places in the world to have a job.

Pros

Almost everyone cares. They wants the company to do well. There are lots of opportunities in the company if you no longer enjoy what you're doing. They try hard to make it a good place.

Cons

Leadership is like a club. There have been times I haven't seen my leader for weeks. If you try to give feedback to your leader, get ready for a terrible experience. They can block you leaving their team and make your life miserable. Pay is only OK. Add the commute and city taxes and it's not very good. Your pay can get cut if you take a lower role. Your pay won't go up if you make it to a higher role.

A joke of a job

Pros

The end of the workday. A paycheck. You get to wear jeans on some Fridays. Experience so you can go to a real job and not hate your life everyday.

Cons

Uneducated employees, incompetent leadership, false motivation, commission tier favors the company and not employees, marketing department writes most of the positive reviews on here to trick people into working here. Making 300-400 calls a day to lie to customers to get them to a mortgage banker. Having people scream at you because you have called them 4-5 times a day for the past 6 months.
