You can easy work what you want sometimes and you can take as much as you want time to finsh your job

No respecting for technician from mangers and no clear system you can work with it and low certificate means high position

Pros

Minimal supervision, minimal work with excellent pay. Get to see some cool Fire Apparatus everyday.

Cons

Very hit and miss with training. Spent weeks on end just showing up and doing nothing but watching time fly. No training budget or training plan. Other times training was hands on, fast and furious. Few promises when hired were fulfilled. Do not provide you with what you need to fulfill your position, guess work is on you only to be told you're wrong by them.
