Pros

Fair pay. Flexible work life balance. They hire some inspiring people who truly care about the overall mission of an e-learning software product.

Cons

Zero communication from the top down. So many leaders only care about how they look on the surface, but could care less about the overall satisfaction of their Dept. The CHRO needs to go. Almost half of HR has either left or been asked to leave under the disguise of leaving voluntarily. They get rid of their best employees and keep the ones they can brain wash. From the looks of it, everyone who has left has gone on to something much bigger and better.

Rosetta Stone Response

I would like to thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We do agree that Rosetta Stone has a great mission and we strive to treat our employees fairly in terms of pay and flexibility. In response to your negative perception of our leadership team, I want to express that the company has evolved rapidly over the last year to ensure we have the appropriate skill sets and experience to support a fast-paced and growing Language and Literacy SaaS business. As we transition our business model and skill sets, we must also transform the functions that support the business. Whether your perception was formed as part of my team or on another team looking in, I ask you to reflect on the dignity, respect and confidentiality we afford all employees as part of any change. If you were part of my team, I hope you would know this to be true, and if you were not, please reach out to me as I would like to better understand your perspectives so I can either help validate or inform your views on this matter. All the best, Steve sriddle@rosettastone.com

Pros

Flexible. Great supervisors who are understanding. Online/remote work so don't have to spend money on gas. They give you all the equipment you need( sans computer)

Cons

Low pay. No room for salary increase based on experience, or education or years of service.

Pros

Unlimited PTO - which you need because the company is a stressful place to work

Cons

My experience at Rosetta Stone has been nothing but stressful. The company is going downhill, management is poor, coworkers are competitive for no reason, and there is no room for personal growth. The environment is toxic and issues are systemic. Everyone on the team I work on has expressed issues with the culture/strategies/workflow and nothing is ever done about it. Team members don't work as a team, passive aggressiveness is a big problem, and management has said things that are demoralizing and inappropriate. Multiple reports have been submitted to HR, and again, there were no actions to resolve any issues. Already, multiple team members have left- churn is high. I would not recommend working here and unfortunately, do not see any indication that things will change.
