Pros
Getting to create memorable experiences for your customers with the unique Nurse driven set up was heart warming. The jewelry is beautiful.
Cons
Pretty much everything else. The inconsistencies of this company is nerve raking. The mid level management and C-Suite women sugar coat everything and never want to actually be honest about what's actually going on. They don't have any sort of policy and procedures set in black and white, but when it fits their agenda, has no problem holding the Studio Managers accountable for breaking so called P&Ps. Theres no accountability for the nurses and all accountability for SMs. So it has created a very negative culture. The turn over rate is extremely high! Lack of clear communication. Lack of sellable product. SMs are constantly asked to do things outside of their job title with no compensation. I can speak personally about this, they take ideas from people without giving them credit, let alone compensation! They say they want strong managers who will give feedback. But what they really want is someone who will keep their mouth shut and just do everything they are told, even if its wrong. I was personally told to do work off the clock because I was salary and it doesnt affect my pay so what does it matter. They have no respect of personal time. No boundaries. There is a fear amongst people who work for the company of not wanting to speak up for fear of their job. The interview/hiring process is ridiculous. They are worried about budget, but spend money on nonsense things that bring no profit to the business. But wont spend money on things like building dept teams. So studios are constantly running out of product because there isnt a team to keep up with all of that. Instead, SMs are supposed to act as ground floor buyers and put in "request" orders almost monthly. They are too busy opening up new stores to pay attention to the ones already open. Constant gaslighting from upper management. No training at all for SMs, it's basically sink or swim. Your pay is based on the volume of your store, but you're asked to wear hats of all kinds that is completely out of SM job description without compensation, such as marketing. There was no christmas or anniversary with the company bonus or gift for SMs, except a company hat and a company pair of earrings. The nurses get Visa Gift cards!!!The CEO is kept in the dark about a lot of the things that goes on in the stores.
