      Pros

      The pros of working for this school system were that you gain experience in the teaching field. I learned a lot that I would not have otherwise had I not gone through the process.

      Cons

      The school system is very unorganized and lack of efficiency is blamed on the teacher. Students are expected to all take the same exam in order to pass to the following grade and this does not work.

      I enjoy the children and teaching them. The schools always offer varying experiences.

      Cons

      The pay is not sustainable for long term. If you have a family, substituting is not for you.

      Commitment to new and emerging uses of technology. District has implemented one to one technology plan for students. District shows commitment to improvement.

      Cons

      Prefers to promote from outside. Little advancement opportunity. The one to one technology initiative remains the chief focus. Little attention shown to the transition to the one to one initiative.
