      Small district, close-knit staff, good beginning teacher support, good opportunities to connect with upper management. Superintendents are available. Resources especially technology are readily available for staff and students.

      Cons

      Red tape, Pay is low (statewide) North Carolina is ranked lowest in the nation for teacher pay. State assessments are always on current grade level, hard to measure student individual yearly growth
