Roxbury is simply and unsafe place to work if working in direct patient care. The patient to staff ratio has reached dangerous levels. Due to the fact that they are unable to maintain direct care staff (nurses, mental health technician and counselor aide positions). Therefore, they utilize untrained staff (kitchen staff, housekeepers) which do not know how to handle patients in crisis and most importantly have not been trained to identify signs of danger for those patients and the remainder of the patient milieu. Management continually pushes the envelope of ethical treatment of staff as well as patients. The treatment and services that are promoted as being offered to patients are far from the actual treatment and services provided.

The pay for all that MHTs do isn't nearly enough, understaffed a lot, and newer employees this year had less training than previous employees making the newer people incompetent.
