There are some good managers.. but very few, Some are incompetent and dishonest! The owner and the sons have no business running a company. In the real business world they would be out of a job long time ago! Training is poor and disorganized, Some drop out of the class in the first few days! Very high turnover for salespeople, as the commissions are low and working environment unfriendly! Most managers have learned not to respect salespeople, "But Royal is a company that is different"!!!

The work culture here is very spiteful. Every place of work has its politics, but the politics here are more severe here than any other place I have worked at. They do not treat their people well and it shows (many of the employees report having the feelings they do about the company because management will berate them as though they are not adults and it is perceived as an abuse of power). It is not uncommon for management and HR to say one thing to you and do the complete opposite. They also consistently make promises that they do not live up to while claiming to have never made statements they blatantly made. BEWARE: they guarantee a salary that they cannot and do not provide. If retention is any indication of work culture, this place would be rated very low. Nearly a dozen left within the span of 5 months.
