Rubrik reviews

Full of narcissists, very unprofessional, promise sales territories before hiring and give you leftovers. They have hired way too many people and really only care about going public. There are some really great people at Rubrik but as one reviewer noted it is a toxic place. During QBR's managers routinely engaged in vulgar and inappropriate behavior which made me feel uncomfortable.

1. Pay and stock options is not to silicon valley standards. I made mistake of discussing about my current compensation where I had taken pay cut as I was in start up and they low balled. I negotiated for a while but they had all explanations that if we go beyond this you will be above our current employees and we can't do that etc. But after getting I realized that's not the case. 2. There is truth to being partial to Google/Facebook/Stanford. I have experience where internally referred resume with strong recommendation of new grad with 5 years of experience not moving forward because they are not from Stanford or top tier. There are still claims of mostly ex Google/Facebook employees in marketing materials. This was true with founding team but am sure it is diluted now.
