Pros

No nights! Great employees…but you control that, not necessarily the company. Can be easy to run, if you are a good leader. The employees really love their job, which makes me happy. A little budget to do specail things in house for my employees…that majes me happy

Cons

Lack of clear concise communication from corporate. Very petty upper management. Lack of professionalism, on occasion. Lower pay, for manager. Poor bonus structure. You dont feel supported from corporate, or upper management Somehow the company feels “cliquey” . You can feel left out of the fun, so to speak. No motivators! if you cannot motivate your self, and sometimes need the outside positve push, ths is not the place for you. Dont expect a single pat on the back! Or good job, or we appreciate your hard work. As a matter if fact, dont expect any communication, unless you mess up. Unrealistic views of how a restaurant shoud/can be run (Do not schedule a dishwasher, prep person, or host.) They want you to hire hire hire-then cut hours Feel undervalued No weekends off PTO gets denied! even if you have gotten approval from the GM. Approval comes from the director No paid holidays Insurance isnt the best

Pros

Nice environment, up to date kitchen equipment. Nice building.

Cons

You are told several different ways to do things. There are no solid policies in place. If you dare complain of being overworked or not heard as a member of the management team you are marked for termination. Work your rear off for an ungrateful company.

Pros

Busy restaurant so tips are decent, easy work, day shifts only so you have the rest of the day to enjoy, free meal before shift, best benefits I have seen for waiters (they offer very affordable health & dental and free $25,000 life insurance)

Cons

Shifts are long and you have to be up so early you're too tired to do anything the rest of the day, the free meal before work is very small; you all have to share what the kitchen has made, there's really no teamwork, some coworkers are really nice and some are not so nice, everyone seems to have a short fuse
