Pros

you get to meet tons of people work with police which looks good on a resume

Cons

where do I start: you get sick time but you get penalized if you take it rules are made up over night and changed the next day management is non- existent. Pay not nearly what should be raises that are promised are not rewarded

Pros

I can't think of any, except to learn the business. Everybody smokes.

Cons

Medieval attitudes about employee worth by owners. Ridiculous amounts of mandatory overtime expected. Open displays of intolerant, intimidating or bullying behavior; yelling by management. Rules and Policies are not uniformly or consistently applied to all employees.

Pros

great experience, looks good on a resume

Cons

Terrible Employee policies, no regard for employees with families. Attendance works on an "Occurrence" system. on your 5th time calling in to work sick (no matter the reason) you get a verbal warning (which is written) and after that you receive write-ups until you've called out 8 times in a year, they will automatically terminate you.
