Pros

The nice thing was the Monday - Friday work schedule with lots, and I mean LIOTS of overtime. Location was also close to home (Scottsdale).

Cons

The pay and training were well below subpar. Management staff didn't know there bumhole from a hole in the ground, very inexperience.

Pros

Employees Plenty of over time. UT games! equipment is getting better

Cons

Under utilized EMT's (Paramedics are severely over utilized). Supervisors seem to be in the dark with their employees. Equipment is sparse or out dated. Pay could be better for the area. Union is a joke to say the least (corporate buddies). Hold overs are almost every shift because dispatch plans it that way (BLS pre-scheduled shouldn't ever happen in hold overs).

My partner was a very good teacher. He was a great medic. Taught me many things. He showed respect to everyone

Cons

Low pay, back biting, gossip, grown men acting like small children. Management had no clue what they were doing. Had an EMT as a shift supervisor. Since when is an EMT over medics.
