Pros

Salary, benefits. Looks good on the outside looking in but....Beware.

Cons

Heavy workload, no communication! Low employee morale. Most employees hate their jobs or their managers but have learned the hard way that our HR Dept has no power to do anything! Afraid to rock any boats. So depressing because they know they "have you" since there are no other decent paying jobs in Rutland. If you go to HR to complain or for help - forget about ever moving up or to a different dept! Black listed.

Pros

The benefits are great...most of the "lower-level" people are great.

Cons

Management places a huge emphasis on treating patients and co-workers well... constantly assessing employee engagement, contentment with working conditions, but end up treating staff poorly. Since leaving, I have heard many former employees who have had very negative experiences, much like mine. Training is inconsistent, as are expectations.

Cons

Unfortunately, Rutland Regional Medical Center is not so great for employees of color. Xenophobia is very popular.
