Pros

not forced to do anything (captain of ship policy), good relationship with management, able to work days you want to,good respect for drivers

Cons

need to pay more, or stop moving so many 53' trailers

Pros

Challenging customer, no 2 days are ever the same.

Cons

Overtime is paid by a "formula" which means the more hours you work over 40 the less you get paid per hour. I checked with the Wage & Hour Division as well as other co-workers, it is legal until you work enough hours that you are paid less then minimum wage per hour. That has not happened yet, thank goodness.
