Large global company, major player in the industry Average salary range, some good perks Moving in the right direction

Cons

Poor HR dept - no training, performance eval is ineffective, too many policies More interested in cutting costs than improving the business No career development Poor financial track record, which means bonus is almost non-existent

You can learn a lot if you want to. Overtime is available.

Cons

Company fools you into thinking they care about you. In all reality, you are just another number owned by a bigger company. Ryerson paints a pretty portrait, but that portrait is out of square, tolerance, and integrity.
