Pros

Ryerson has a great work environment with talented people that are focused on creating value for the company and growing their careers. There is a strong focus on work/life balance and the stuffiness I've felt at other large "old school" companies does not exist here. I believe I've been given a lot of flexibility to work on projects that interest me and collaborate with senior management to drive positive change in the organization.

Cons

I think that compensation and benefits are in-line with expectations but not necessarily a strength compared with other opportunities in the market.

Pros

Decent pay, other than that there is not really much to say. I wasted over 20 years of my life with this company.

Cons

Company is expanding in China, cutting jobs in Canada.
