Pros

Nothing really. Its an old people shoe store. The company is "trying" to change it's image, but they seem to be failing miserably. Feels like too little, too late. So many people have left this company because of the new corporate structure, you don't even want to bother with getting to know anyone anymore. They don't care about their staff, which makes you not care about the job. I'm only here for the paycheck now until I can find something better.

Cons

This company is an absolute joke. They think we can achieve sales like other retailers out there but forget that most people who loved this company is dead now! They hired some big-to-do corporate lackeys to try and steer this company back on course but all they're doing is making things even worse. The customers hate the changes and the employees are jumping off this ship left and right.

SAS is disappointed to hear you're so unhappy with your current employment here. Obviously, we're not a fit for you and it sounds like moving on is in your best interest. We're confident the changes the company is making are working as evidenced by increased demand for our products and positive customer feedback. While SAS is not a fit for all employees, we wish you the best in your career.

Pros

The only good thing about this job are the customers, and only a few are actually nice.

Cons

This company is a joke! You have legit employees in within your stores who want to work, who come in with every intention of trying to stay. But when they are consistently put down and denied the time and pay needed to make a living it encourages those employees to want to find a job elsewhere. How can you expect a part time employee to do everything your full time manager does and not pay them for their hard work? Management doesnt know how to properly run their own stores and deny good people decent work and pay. It's a shame.

Pros

There was a time when this company could boast having the most comfortable shoes in the world...and they'd have been correct! Used to uphold quality over quantity above anything else.

Cons

Upper management has lost their way and is currently destroying what made SAS different. People who never worked a store are making decisions to turn on the very customers that pay their salary.
