Pros

not a hard job and can be very boring at times.

Cons

you call customer service and they cant even tell you whats in the warehouse. that's bad customer service but they are working on it. got there and no one knew very much about shoes and really wasn't focused on sales because its not commission. so why try hard to sell when you get paid the same to let someone walk out the door? manager had no clue how to train employees to sell. Doesn't follow policies in the handbook and low wages

Horrible/Nonexistent Leadership

Pros

The marketing team I worked with were all very talented, driven individuals who worked hard despite leadership working against them and belittling them at every turn.

Cons

The CEO micromanages everyone. She is very dismissive and condescending towards employees. The marketing department cannot keep a department lead because the CEO treats them poorly. She "does not believe in marketing" and treats the entire department like a waste of time and money. She refuses to provide a budget for any photoshoots or other marketing efforts. Turnover is very high. And employees were treated as expendable at the beginning of COVID. Additionally, when an employee would leave/get fired, they would simply hand over all of that employee's workload to someone else in the department with no intention of hiring a replacement. There would be no discussion of increased pay with the increased workload. This happened multiple times. When I left, everyone in the office was doing the work of 2-3 employees. With no department head or leadership to speak of.

Pros

Today marks two years since being fired from this company, and it was the best thing that ever happened to me. I'm not even kidding! I loved this company so much and was heartbroken when I initially left, but hindsight truly is 20/20. I saw the writing on the wall and was planning my exit anyway. I managed to get hired on with another company the very next week for the same amount of pay.

Cons

This company is a joke. They screw their employees over every chance they can get. They used to make me pay for all of my own travel costs and then I'd spend the next month trying to justify getting my money back. I once had to deliver turkeys for Thanksgiving to over twenty store locations to every employee at every store within a ten day period and I had to pay for it ALL OUT OF POCKET!! It literally took me over two months to get the majority of my money back (I managed to get my check about a week before they canned me). They've lost almost every loyal employee they had over these past few years and their sales have tanked. This company is a burning building and its time to get out! And for the record, I was fired for something that wasn't even against policy!! But I have no hate for you now. You did me a favor and my life is truly better for it. I have a better life, and a dream job now and I owe it all in part to your idiotic business practices. So thank you and happy anniversary.
