Pros

The heavy workload kept me busy, and I preferred that over sitting idle or taking it easy during work hours.

Cons

- I could handle the heavy workload if management had been supportive and recognized employees for their hard work. - Pay increases were promised but never delivered, despite the stress and effort we put in every day. - Working overtime nonstop was exhausting, even though I didn’t mind staying busy. - What angered me most was management breaking their promises, lying to employees, insulting us, and treating us unfairly.

Pros

I didn’t come across any pros while working here. When the leadership is terrible, there aren’t any pros in a workplace.

Cons

The CEO is awfully arrogant and fake. This person lies blatantly about understanding the industry, but it’s obvious that this person lacks the knowledge of how a health plan works. It was ridiculous because the CEO put tons of pressure on us (employees) without understanding our challenges.

We regret hearing about your negative experience. And while we understand that individual experiences can vary, at SCAN, we’re proud to be led by a CEO who is widely respected across the healthcare industry and deeply committed to our mission of keeping seniors healthy and independent. His leadership is grounded in decades of experience, having served in key roles across the industry—including government, and leading health plans—which brings a highly-knowledgeable and well-rounded perspective to his work at SCAN. He works closely with teams across the organization to stay connected to challenges, drive innovation, and uphold our values as a not-for-profit. Pros

In 2003 when I started it was a great place to work. Leadership was Awesome

Cons

but now they are laying workers off and outsourcing jobs that they employees had for years, to look for a Job at 60 years old, when you should be planning for your retirement is disgraceful
