Pros

Working here directly impacts people in a positive way every day. The training is thorough and prepares me to handle calls with confidence. My teammates are supportive — during high-volume days, everyone steps in and helps one another. Management listens, provides clear feedback, and remains open to process improvements. The benefits and compensation are solid compared to similar roles, and perks like PTO and wellness programs add extra value. The mission of serving seniors keeps morale high and motivates me to consistently give my best at work.

Cons

Some days are emotionally draining.

Pros

A few coworkers still care enough to support one another, even as everything else crumbles.

Cons

- What was once a mission-focused organization has become a place ruled by fear and arrogance. - Those in charge have no understanding of the actual work, yet constantly interfere and punish anyone who questions them. - Every day feels tense, with people too afraid to speak up or make a mistake. - Communication is broken; vital details are hidden, and departments are turned against each other. - Collaboration is dead, replaced by suspicion and exhaustion. - The constant turnover exposes just how unbearable this workplace has become. - The purpose and passion that once gave meaning to the job have been destroyed by control, favoritism, and indifference.

Pros

HR cares about the well-being of its employees and provides them with good perks and benefits. SCAN tries to do right by its customers and encourages employees to assist in that endeavor.

Cons

The company is not a good spot for growth. There are great opportunities for growth as an individual contributor but growth from an individual contributor to a management role will not happen here. As evidence, look at the job posting for leadership roles; all of those will be filled by outsiders, despite there being people within the company who could and should be moved into management. The work-life balance really doesn't exist for hourly employees here.
