      EXTREMELY HORRIBLE MID & UPPER LEVEL MANAGEMENT

      Pros

      Great pay with weekends and holidays off. Flexible hours which help tremendously with a young family. Wonderful co-workers.

      Cons

      Dysfunctional mid & upper management. Play favoritism towards certain few. There is no fairness towards everyone. Always quick to point out any wrongs and never give credit for any positive or see how much effort most put into their jobs. Management calls meetings with our department and basically tells us to indirectly lie on our evaluations to ensure they look great along with many other issues that really make it hard to come to work and do your job.

      Pros

      The company is expanding, which provides a false sense of job security. The instability creates anxiety throughout the organization about lay offs. Some people are great to work with - some managers are competent.

      Cons

      The recent acquisitions and mergers have created chaos. The company lacks the internal infrastructure to handle the integration. They're more concerned with creating new management positions and patting each other on the back than optimizing the work processes of daily operators. There's also a culture of secrecy. You rarely receive a straight answer when asking a question and are often left without vital information that you may need to perform the basic functions of your job. One of the main reasons I left the company was lack of professional respect and the constant INTERNAL barriers I faced. It was nearly impossible to be successful in my role because of internal conflict, lack of professionalism, and general laziness.

      Pros

      Immediate manager was great. Doctors get treated well. Lots of benefits if you are a service provider.

      Cons

      Moved desks of the IT department into a hallway. Took away any privacy that we had to concentrate and do our work. "Budget cuts" went to the 25% of the employees not making a lot while doctors signing on with SG got ipads and laptops.
