Pros

The consumers i worked with were amazing. My coworker and i really got along and made a great team. The pay was decent i guess.

Cons

My supervisor more than not was not on the grounds while she was clocked in. As someone who is supposed to be a role model for both the consumers and their staff, she was a horrible example. Some of the staff were nice and cared for the consumers, others just saw it as a job and were there for the money. The coordinator at our site was part of the reason they had not just myself, but both of the RPM’s resign. She had too much of a power trip and didn’t actually care for the consumers. Besides taking them to their medical appointments, there was a lack of interaction with the consumers from the staff. There were no groups or resources to help the consumers achieve their goal of moving to a lower level of care.
