Great but Stressful

Pros

Friendly working environment and co-workers. Management/Supervisors assist with any and all questions.

Cons

Certain shifts (I worked graveyard) are understaffed for the amount of call/ticket volume that comes in. Extremely stressful dealing with 3+ different customer complaints, with 10+ waiting in queue do to low staff count.

Pros

It is a good start for entry level engineers, in order to gain experience. You will learn to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and to communicate with different teams from all around the globe.

Cons

When I first joined the company (and for 2 years) it was still OpenBet. During that time, it was a great and a fun place to work. All employees felt secure and respected and they would get credits for their work. That was up until SG took over, then everything changed, we all became just a number. The upper management always says that SG's first priority is its people. This is far from the truth. Let me give you some examples: - It is natural for a team to work on a project (which is far from completed) and the next day, without any notice, to be sent to work on something completely different and the other way around, again without any notice whatsoever. - Every year, during SG's appraisals, we didn't have any KPOs. Since there aren't any specific objectives, how can you get a promotion or a salary raise when you actually deserve it ? - This is the most serious one. During the second week of the quarantine, the upper management reassured us that there won't be any layoffs and everything is under control. The very next day, again without any notice, started to laying off employees. Not even their line managers knew what was happening. The list goes on and on, but I will stop here
