A Masterclass in Dysfunction: Proceed with Caution

Pros

Exceptionally talented and kind colleagues who made the day-to-day bearable. Unlimited PTO — though good luck getting leadership to respect your boundaries when you actually try to use it.

Cons

Toxic leadership at the top: Fear-based management, zero accountability, and a revolving door of executives who treat their teams like disposable assets. Bullying culture masked as “high standards”: Harassment, gaslighting, and intimidation are rampant — especially from upper leadership. Reporting issues only paints a target on your back. Antiquated infrastructure: Outdated systems and disjointed platforms make even basic tasks unnecessarily difficult. Leadership demands innovation without investing in the foundational tools to support it. Lip service DEI: The public-facing diversity narrative is hollow. Internally, microaggressions go unchecked, and inclusion is more of a buzzword than a value. No real growth: Career development is virtually nonexistent unless you’re politically aligned with leadership. Promotions and opportunities are based on favoritism, not merit. Micromanagement masked as mentorship: There is no trust or autonomy — only constant interference, contradictory direction, and CYA behavior from the top down.

Pros

One pro that came out of working for this organization is that the chosen relationships that were cultivated will last a lifetime.

Cons

Many cons are associated with this orgnazation and I'll only mention a few of them here. The extreme gaslighting from leadership is one of the worst I've experienced in my career. The lack of transparency, support (INCLUDING from HR), communication, integrity, trust, communication, dishonesty, gender bias, pay discrepancies, and bullying that goes on here is mind blowing. Showing concern, voicing your opinions and exhibiting any sign of weakness is quickly shut down, covered up and all efforts to silence or isolate you are set in motion.

Toxic - No Integrity

Pros

A paycheck, desk and chair coupled with a work laptop. A pension only if you can make it past 5 years.

Cons

Everything else! A toxic workplace with a textbook narcissistic leader at the realm. Do not believe any of the positive reviews, all of them are written to counteract all the bad reviews. The writers had to write stellar reviews because it was the directive of their narcissistic leader in order to keep their jobs and satisfy his ego.
