Pros

None that come to mind.

Cons

Lying to clients and candidates is encouraged. There are zero ethics at the management level. Unlike other firms they offer no training, not even on site. If you want to get into staffing or recruiting go to an established firm to learn the basics.

Pros

They offer a base salary and business cards.

Cons

Before you EVER accept a job with any organization, do a LinkedIn Search for former employees. Reach out to individuals with both short-term and long-term experience at that company. You will hear both positive and negative experiences. Pay close attention to the negative experiences and the volume of those. Listen for similar patterns as will be discussed below and most importantly READ every post, positive and negative on Glassdoor. There is ample talk about training throughout these reviews. The training outside of a web based program does not exist. The training was designed by professionals that haven't been selling in 20 years. It's a one week training and then you are left to throw on blinders and dial for dollars. With this type of training, a chimp could get the same results. This company puts ZERO money back into it's employees. So if you are looking for a company that invests in infrastructure, continued training, or it's employees; look elsewhere. The benefits are deplorable. Health Care is Expensive. Zero 401K Match, you can't even contribute until after 1 year of employment. You are expected to use your cell phone, but they do not cover any expenses. When you do incur expenses for business purposes, you must FIGHT to get every penny back. SNI does not believe in any entertainment for clients at all. Bonuses and Commissions are repeatedly shortened. Be mindful, this will be disputed by HR and they will jump on with the standard two cents for any negative comments. Talk to multiple previous employers about this factor. If it happens ONCE, that is more times than it ever should. Do your homework and look up the history of lawsuits this company has incurred for it's treatment of internal employees. Most are on the public record. Then after seeing those, just imagine how many were settled before going to public record. Scary Thought. The company is literally 40 years outdated from the industry and wishes to resurrect practices that no longer exist with modern technology. A job here is like stepping back decades in time. This company believes it is bigger than it actually is, don't believe the sales pitch. SNI is a dying company just trying to survive on it's last breath. A "sinking ship" used in a previous negative post is a perfect analogy. This company is a congregation of multiple acquisitions that have yet to mesh into any resemblance of a unified corporate culture. Revenues are sinking across multiple markets. Every single positive post you see on here are posted by a current employer. Current employees are mandated to make posts in order to improve their Glassdoor approval rating. Each region of the company takes turns rotating on whom will make a positive post this week as mandated by the dated leadership. Pay close attention to the detail, they are all very similar, and look for the trends. Everyone that posts about work/life balance is full of crap. That does not exist with the exception of the Leadership; which arrives promptly at 8:00AM and departs on the horn at 5:00PM daily. This industry does demand a strong work ethic, but one that can be accomplished in less working hours than the leadership demands. But, you will not be afforded that. The expectation is 8AM-6PM. Two weeks vacation is it and they stick to it. Don't get sick. Sick leave is bundled into your vacation. Expecting mothers, maternity leave does not exist. You will have to take FMLA. After every negative Glassdoor post you will see where HR adds their two cents at the end is a purely meaningless tactic. HR is a puppet for the Dictatorship run by a used car salesman. HR will encourage current employees to reach out and subsequently fire them. The Executive team rules the company under them through FEAR and is beyond the epitome of a "sleazy" sales professionals. Don't be fooled. If you are looking for a career in the staffing industry, please make sure you explore multiple staffing firms. SNI is not original, they are a carbon copy and continuing to emulate the model of a more prestigious and international firm. Exhaust your job search before settling for a JOB at SNI. There is no career to be had here, this will simply be a pit stop on your professional journey that could cost your reputation based on how poorly the industry vies SNI Companies. Be careful.
