Pros

This company is growing, great people to work with, understanding and dedicated to completing the task. I have been working for this company for about a year. The PM is awesome to work with and he takes care of his team. I feel like we are a growing family, who look out for each other. We all work as a team to complete the task. I truly believe SOLUTE is a great company. It has help me in all aspect of life, as I transitioned out of the military into the private sector. SOLUTE should be everyone’s # 1 chose to come and work for an evolving company. It can only get better and it has with the right people in places. SOLUTE is succeeding into the next futuristic technology, that will support the new age war fighters.

Cons

The upper management needs to get to know their employees. The employees work in various location in support of the war fighters. In order to make the team better and understand one another. The upper management needs to know how to improve the team and what training and education are available for the team. You must be competitive with the salary, benefits and PTO’s/sick time. It all comes down to quality of life and how each employee is treated. This is a determining factor, to move to a better place or to stay and make it better.

Pros

- Amazing company to work for most of the negative comments that you are reading are from individuals that have been let go due to poor performance, just show up trying to get a free check, or call out all the time and get upset they don't get paid for calling out for no reason. If you show up and do your Job like you hired to do good things will happen for you. - Very competitive with other companies when it comes to Pay. If you do your job and do it well it gets noticed and follows with bonus and pay raises. - Very well put together teams. Feels more like a second family than a team. - Veteran owned and operated. Very military orientated. - 10 Paid holidays and 10 paid vacation days a year to start with. - Benefits due to the fact that I can decline to have benefits and be compensated an extra $150 dollars a month. That's an extra $1,800.00 a year. - Personally as a current employee it comical to read some of the bad reviews that are left on this page. If you are a current employee and have questions or concerns talk to the PM's or go to with the CEO John Lyons he has an open door policy. John will sit down and discuss any issue that might come up and provide solutions. It is a cowardly thing to bash someone online then saying it to them so they can try and fix any issues that you are having. - Your job is what you make it if you want it to be miserable then it will be or if you want it to be great then it will be. But that is on you. -Also, the snacks are a great bonus as well

Cons

- Sick leave. Would like to receive sick days. - Benefits. A little higher cost than most companies. ( I know its also a Pro as well) - It is a mostly defense contract work which is not a bad thing but sometimes the contracts are only for a year with an option year. So it can provide uncertainty from year to year to some. But if you are a good employee they will not let you just walk away from the company cause the contract ended they will find other work for you within the company.

Pros

If you care about your job and do good work, it will get noticed and rewarded (with pay increases or bonuses, growth opportunities, etc.). If you are not engaged, that's going to get noticed too. You get out what you honestly put in. From everything I've seen, the CEO and program managers are trying to do the right thing for the people that work hard and care about their jobs. Unfortunately, happy employees typically don't take the time to write reviews. It's mostly those who feel wronged that go online to blast the company. It creates a pretty skewed picture that I don't think fits most people's experience at the company. I have been meaning to write a review for a while, but a recent review from supposedly a "current engineer" is what prompted me to write this review. I'm left wondering, who is this person? I'm a current employee myself and I can't think of anybody that's as angry as this person sounds, not even close. Makes me wonder if former disgruntled employees are posting multiple reviews. My advice to anybody who is not happy at their jobs is go talk to your manager, a different manager or the CEO and voice your concerns. My advice to anybody who is happy is take a few minutes to post a review and share your experience here. I'm sure other current and future employees will appreciate it.

Cons

Having to read the ridiculously over the top negative reviews.
