Pros

the company has a wonderful happy environment. they really do a lot throughout the year for the employees, organizing outings and fun events. they have ongoing training, (although, it's not hands on training) which is a downside to it. the training is delivered in a lecture format. great work space and the employees and executives are wonderful to be around!!

Cons

horrible base! $24,000. even though, if you have experience in sales, they will offer you an additional $1,000 a month of a garenteed commissions for the first year. still $36k is a joke to live on!! the your first 3 commission checks are split with the semior person working witn you on the deal. the first deal is 75%|25% split. (you get the 25%). the second deal is a 50%|50% split. and the third deal is a 25%|75% split, (you getting the 75%). then you're on your own to make commissions. HOWEVER...there's a catch (isn't there always?) if the deal you are working on is a "rip out" as they call it, where the company you are getting to sign up with SPS already has a service provider in place, and SPS is going to come and "rip out" their existing solution and replace it with SPS's solution, then you will split those commissions 90%|10%!! you getting the 10%!!!! and that is indefinitely until you are promoted to senior account executive!! therefore, it is extremely hard to make any money at this company for the first 2 years! plus it's one of the most complex sales I've ever experienced. the learning curve is at least 2 years! this job is really geared around brand new college graduated with no experience. not a place for seasoned experts in sales, as the base is a joke, & the ramp up period takes quite a while to really have a handle on what you're doing.
