-Too many hours with extremely limited personal/vacation time (unlike what some drivers have written, there is no "slow season" at the plant, and you will work 50-60 mandatory hours a week)
-Mediocre benefits (that you still have to pay for; will only match 401K up to $60/wk after 5 years employment)
-Perpetually understaffed but more than willing to fire their hardest workers for showing up a minute late
-Management completely out of touch, obviously no formal managerial training/professional development; they run the plant like it's still the '50s
-Extreme favoritism and retaliation in management; if they like you, great! If they don't, they'll seek reasons to fire you. They encourage employees to speak up about problems in the plant, then treat them terribly for bringing problems up. (Most of the time, management is the problem)
Don't be fooled by their "SRM is family" rhetoric. They don't give a damn about their employees and will seek reasons to fire you even if you're the hardest worker in the plant. SRM is all about family. Their own family.
